INTRONAUT To Replace JESU On First Week of ISIS Tour
February 22, 2007Goodfellow recording artists INTRONAUT will replace JESU on the upcoming ISIS tour commencing on February 22.
JESU, the new band featuring Justin Broadrick — former member of two legendary bands: NAPALM DEATH and GODFLESH — has been unable to enter the U.S. due to visa/work permit issues.
INTRONAUT will play the following shows with ISIS:
Feb. 22 - San Diego, CA @ The Casbah (w/ OXBOW)
Feb. 23 - Tempe, AZ @ The Clubhouse (w/ OXBOW)
Feb. 24 - Albuquerque, NM @ Launchpad (w/ OXBOW)
Feb. 26 - Oklahoma City, OK @ Conservatory (w/ TORCHE)
Feb. 27 - Fort Worth, TX @ Ridglea Theater (w/ TORCHE)
Feb. 28 - Austin, TX @ Emo's (w/ TORCHE)
Mar. 01 - Houston, TX @ Numbers (w/ TORCHE)
One or two more shows may be added in the days to come.
When JESU does officially join the tour, INTRONAUT member Danny Walker will fill in for the band's regular drummer Ted Parsons for the remainder of the tour.
INTRONAUT released its latest album, "Void", in Europe on November 17 through Lifeforce Records (via a licensing deal with Goodfellow Records). The European version of "Void" contains an exclusive bonus track.
"Void" was recorded at Shiva Industries (ABYSMAL DAWN, WINTERTHRALL, NOCTUARY, EYES OF FIRE, DREAMS OF DAMNATION) with John Haddad. The album was mastered by Alan Douches (MASTODON, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, MISFITS, RUN DMC, CLUTCH, BAD BRAINS, etc.) at West West Side Music. The CD was released in the U.S. by Goodfellow Records on August 22.
